…And do we not notice that almost all of our favorite “golden age” ex-Gawker writers are unemployed or underemployed, despite having had that great platform and wide audience? Don’t we want to live in a media environment where people like Balk, Pareene, Choire, Emily, Sheila and Jesse can get decently paid for doing what they are so good at?I think I speak for all Americans here when I say, Yes.
