McCain: “Total. … She has the instincts, she shares my world view. … She not only would take over, she would inspire Americans. That’s what I think she would do. She would unite the country in a time of crisis. … And, by the way, I don’t like this comment about me being dying.”
King: “I didn’t say dying. I said you’re over the Pacific.”
McCain: “Oh, excuse me.”
King: “Okay? You’re not dying. … You’re over the Pacific.”
McCain: “Okay. I’m over the Pacific.”
King: “God, that we don’t want.”
